Welcome to CO-PLACE, where we support clients in advocating for public lands and promoting their stewardship and public enjoyment. We have worked with organizations like the National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA), Next Interior, and the National Forest Foundation.Â
Currently, we are are working with NPCA to build political power for national parks in western Colorado by developing a grasstops advocacy network of business and community leaders in park gateway communities. Adam Auerbach is a public lands advocacy leader and a former ranger at Rocky Mountain National Park. Adam has a master's in environmental policy and a background in nonprofit leadership, partnership development, communications, and collaborative conservation. Adam has also worked for Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Boulder County Parks & Open Space, and nonprofits like American Conservation Experience. Adam is a published and award-winning author with experience publishing both academic and popular media work. Adam's pro bono public lands advocacy has included planning and leading advocacy events, extensive media work, public speaking, and publishing compelling articles. Lastly, Adam is known for spotting moose everywhere he goes.
